Namur did not disappoint. After an exteremely hard race, Lucinda Brand and Michael Vanthourenhout were victorious on the citadel!
Women Elite
In the first lap Denise Betsema and Lucinda Brand were soon able to tear themselves away from the chasing ladies. Not much later Brand continued her acceleration, putting Betsema at a distance. Lap after lap she saw her lead grow. The mighty world champion could put her hands in the air after the last lap. Curious about the rest of the race?
Men Elite
A wonderful victory for Michael Vanthourenhout today on the Citadelle de Namur. After a long race chasing, he was able to pull away from top favourite Tom Pidcock in lap 5. After a few slips by the latter, he managed to beat the young Briton by more than half a minute in the 11th round of the UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup. Curious to find out more?
