16 races in 2021-2022 UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup

Tonight, the UCI announced the calendar for the 2021-2022 UCI Cyclo-Cross World Cup. A total of 16 races are scheduled, three of which in the United States. Just like the five races that took place last winter, classics such as Koksijde and Hoogerheide also got their new date. Discover the full calendar here, with some familiar cross-country locations but also newcomers.

Wout Van Aert wins World Cup in Dendermonde with great dominance

Wout van Aert won the new cyclocross in Dendermonde on Sunday, the third round of the World Cup. Van Aert rode away from Van der Poel half way through the race and continued solo to victory. Mathieu van der Poel came second almost 3 (!) minutes behind. Van Aert is also the new leader in the World Cup.
