Lucinda Brand won the UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup race in Dublin, just as she did last year. The Dutch champion punished a mistake by Fem van Empel in the sandpit and after that rode solo for more than half the race.

Eli Iserbyt has won the first round of the UCI World Cup this season in Antwerpen. A powerful drawn-out attack by the Belgian champion created a gap that he was able to sustain until the end of the race.

Fem van Empel wasted no time in leaving her mark in the opening round of the 2024-2025 UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup in Antwerpen. The world champion took the lead in the second lap and staged a mighty solo performance. Lucinda Brand and Marie Schreiber completed the podium.

Starting this winter, MAES Pils will be Official Partner of the UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup. Brouwer Alken-Maes is thus backing the cyclo-cross winter and will continue to do so up until the winter of 2026 - 2027.

Flanders Classics and the UCI have announced the calendar of the 2024-2025 UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup. The most important regularity criterium will feature 12 rounds in six countries the coming season, with one new venue: Oristano in Sardinia, Italy.

As in the women’s race, it was the world champion who triumphed in the final round of this season’s World Cup. Mathieu van der Poel raced solo to victory in “his” Hoogerheide. Joris Nieuwenhuis came second, Pim Ronhaar third.
