On Sunday 29 October, Maasmechelen was the scene of a UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup round for the second time. Among the Women Elite, Fem van Empel dominated the race from start to finish. The Men Elite made it an exciting spectacle. Dutch champion Lars van der Haar eventually was the strongest.
WOMEN ELITE 2023
After the opening round in Waterloo, Fem van Empel also won the second round of the 2023-2024 UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup. The world champion dominated the race in Maasmechelen from start to finish, successfully completing a five-lap solo. Read more.

Lars van der Haar was the strongest in the UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup round in Maasmechelen. In a race that remained closed for a long time, the Dutch champion attacked three laps from the end. Read more.
