On Sunday 8 January, the mythical Pit of Zonhoven was the setting for the twelfth round of the 2022-2023 UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup. Shirin van Anrooij and Wout van Aert provided the spectacle with two successful solos.

The UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup will once again organise a cyclo-cross youth initiation for children from 8 to 14 years old. The initiation will be led by Vlaamse Wielerschool Limburg.
