Under a delightful Spanish sun, we witnessed two thrilling races. World champion Fem van Empel held off Lucinda Brand in the sprint. Thibau Nys secured victory after a scorching acceleration in the final lap.

Women Elite
World champion Fem van Empel remains unbeaten in Benidorm. For the third year in a row, she was the best in the Spanish sun. Van Empel made it through in an exciting final lap ahead of World Cup leader Brand and Luxembourg champion Schreiber.
Men Elite
With a fantastic acceleration, European champion Nys won the race in Benidorm. In the finale, he left the rest of the pack behind. He made it ahead of Iserbyt and Van der Haar.
