December 26 has become synonymous with the UCI World Cup round in Gavere. Traditionally, the cyclo-cross peloton faces an extremely demanding course there, but this season it was different. On a fast, frozen circuit, Lucinda Brand and Mathieu van der Poel proved to be the strongest.
