Maasmechelen once again served as the penultimate round of the UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup. In the Women Elite race, Puck Pieterse claimed victory ahead of Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado and Amandine Fouquenet. In the men’s race, two punctures could not stop Mathieu van der Poel. The world champion won by a few seconds ahead of his teammate Tibor Del Grosso.
