The UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup round in Namur traditionally delivers plenty of spectacle, and Sunday, December 14 was no exception. Lucinda Brand led the race from start to finish, claiming her fifth Citadelcross victory. In the men’s race, Mathieu van der Poel made his return to cyclo-cross. The world champion was only able to settle matters in the final lap against a strong Thibau Nys and Michael Vanthourenhout.
