The UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup and Pauwels Sauzen will continue to join forces for the next two years. The sauce producer has been part of the most important points-based criterium since the 2020–2021 season. Thanks to this extension, Pauwels Sauzen will remain on board at least until after the 2026–2027 season.

Just as in Maasmechelen, Van der Poel was also the best in Hoogerheide. For the second day in a row, the world champion rode solo to victory. Michael Vanthourenhout finished second and secured his overall victory in the World Cup. Lars van der Haar took third spot on the podium.
