Van Aert wins today’s race and general rankingJust like during today’s women’s race, the men in Overijse also gave us a spectacular event. Belgian champion and overall leader in the World Cup Wout van Aert took home the win. He won from world champion Van der Poel with a lead of 1’03”. Pidcock finished third.

World champion Alvarado wins last race in OverijseAfter an exciting race on a challenging course world champion Alvarado was able to keep Lucinda Brand at a distance in the final lap. She took the win in Overijse in the final race of the World Cup. Manon Bakker completed the Dutch stage with a third place.

Wout Van Aert wins World Cup in Dendermonde with great dominanceWout van Aert won the new cyclocross in Dendermonde on Sunday, the third round of the World Cup. Van Aert rode away from Van der Poel half way through the race and continued solo to victory. Mathieu van der Poel came second almost 3 (!) minutes behind. Van Aert is also the new leader in the World Cup.
